I grew up in Badgerys Creek, south-west of Sydney, and enjoyed the rural lifestyle and being involved with the NSW rural fire service. I joined the team at Islington Dental in 2008. In 2012 I married a Canadian from Nova Scotia and briefly lived there, but was driven out by the cold weather. Upon returning to Australia I realised I really missed Newcastle’s great outdoor lifestyle.
I returned to Islington Dental in 2014 and have been a partner since 2016. I am committed to lifelong learning and attend conferences and courses to upgrade my skills and better understand the challenges my profession is facing going forward. I earned a position as a clinical teacher in 2010 for the University of Sydney and have taught general and cosmetic dentistry ever since.
I am passionate about improving my patient’s oral health.
